You’re standing a distance away, admiring how kindly he talks to the kids. You shake it off, pushing it to the back of your mind until the boy is found. Once you get back to your hotel room, after reuniting the boy with his mother, the image of Mulder speaking with those boys invades your mind. It fills your chest with a warm feeling.
