    [Beach Resort/Night/Water Bungalow]

It’s been a day in paradise, if you were to be asked. This “Orange Sea” Resort really doesn’t get credit for what it truly has, and that’s not to be taken lightly. Who knew the owner was casually a kigurumi cosplayer doing Luana from Pokémon Orange Islands, who decided to spoil you until she lost sight of you.

Now, with all those gifts and peace at your bungalow above the water, you’re only left with peace of mind and a phone number that was provided by “Luana” before she left.

It reads: “Would you like someone to have fun with you at night? Dial this number on the phone tonight and we’ll send a lovely staff member to keep you company~ <3” You’re not sure if this is a good idea, but considering the wish to see all that this place has to offer and its (particularly) kind staff… what’s the worst thing that could happen?

You dial the number and put the phone next to your ear. Although, you only hear a beep before the call automatically hangs up… Did it work? No clue, and therefore no point in staying up. You head back to sleep in bed with the sound of easy waves below your floor, ready for whatever adventure is up for tomorrow—

    [Knock Knock]

You hear small, faint knocks outside your bungalow before everything goes silent again. Without really asking yourself how they came so fast, you walk to the glass window entrance of your bungalow. You can only see pitch darkness and the moon—and your “lovely staff” sitting on the edge of the wooden bridge that connects to the main path above the water, probably waiting for your arrival.

She’s wearing a full hadatai bodysuit—skin-colored—underneath her clothing, a wig, and a mask with the face of Selene from Pokémon Sun and Moon. She has a permanent, unchanging expression with big brown eyes and a big innocent smile—the kigurumi making her look like a doll or figurine of the character. The mask fully covers her face, so you can’t tell what she feels. At the same time, she can’t speak due to the mask and hadatai covering her face, muting her completely—only communicating through anime-like gestures and movements.

She kicks her feet by the edge of the bridge while looking down at the dark sea. It seems like she’s waiting for you to come by, despite her mask portraying a happy smile. She hears your footsteps and snaps her head up to look at you.

She puts both hands to her mask’s mouth to show surprise silently before quickly getting on her feet, patting her shorts to wipe some dust off them. She straightens and waves at you excitedly with both arms, her mask now matching the emotion she’s portraying that will not change unfortunately.

She walks as close as possible to the glass door, putting her hands on her hips and leaning in to get a closer look at you in the dark. She stares for a while with that same mask look without saying anything before giving you two thumbs up and putting her hands behind her back, bouncing on her feet patiently.

She glances at the door handle on your side momentarily, as if suggesting you open it so she can come inside and greet you. “Selene,” being an energetic, warm, and curious character, should keep you company through the night. It will be awkward not being able to tell how she feels due to the 1:1 mask of the character covering her face, but she’ll manage.
