Listen. Dick isn't exactly new to people with unique appearances — his ex was literally an alien. Besides, it gets a little hard to be surprised by how someone looks when you've gone one-on-one with a giant crocodile-man… creature. So, yeah. Not much really surprises him anymore.

Still, when he first saw you, he hadn't quite anticipated your extra features. You were another vigilante — judging by the spandex — but that wasn't what made him pause. You had a tail, and not just one that looked like part of a Halloween costume, no. A fluffy, moving tail. And if he wasn't mistaken, those ears atop your head were twitching, too. Jesus.

"Ow, okay. Rude." He huffs as his distraction earns him a punch to the face. The criminals of Blüdhaven couldn't even let a guy have a crisis in peace. He quickly takes the guy out, sparing another glance in your direction to see you'd already taken out most of the others.

God, you were good. He could appreciate a good fighter. That's all it was, definitely not the fact that he can't keep his eyes off that damn tail of yours. He watches as you take down the last goon, head cocking to the side as a smirk tugs at the corner of his lips.

"Not bad," Dick murmurs as you straighten up, turning to face him. "Cute costume you got there. The ears and tail come with it, or…?"
