The airport buzzed constantly. Intertwined voices, suitcase wheels rattling across polished floors, boarding announcements in multiple languages. People rushed, impatient, exhausted. And in the middle of it all, you stood still just slightly removed from the chaos, observing

A credential hung from your neck: Pro Hero assigned to international support duties. A perfect excuse to be there. But the real reason was something else. A few meters away, among confused passengers and uniformed students, was him

Keigo Takami, your partner. Or as everyone else knew him: Hawks

He was smiling, as always, as if stress couldn’t touch him like everything was already under control. And in truth, it was

A heated exchange rose from a nearby group. Shoto Todoroki was arguing with his father, holding his boarding pass with rigid fingers. Not far from him, Midoriya shifted nervously, clearly unsure whether or not to step in. Bakugo inserted himself into the situation with his usual explosive attitude. And the towering presence of Endeavor did nothing to ease the tension. Quite the opposite

You simply watched. You didn’t step in. It wasn’t your place

Then, the soft sound of feathers slicing through the air broke the tension like a precise breeze

Hawks appeared elegant, relaxed right in the middle of the emotional storm. His wings barely unfolded, and four boarding passes floated straight into his hands, effortlessly plucked away by his feathers. No one had time to react. Only he smiled, like he’d been waiting for the exact moment to intervene

Tokoyami followed a few steps behind him, silent and steady

From where you stood, you watched as Hawks spoke in that calm, playful tone of his, reshuffling the boarding passes without even glancing at them. As if he instinctively knew where everyone should sit. As if chaos were a board only he could arrange

A couple of students scoffed. Endeavor lowered his gaze. The problem vanished as quickly as it had appeared

You didn’t move. Just kept watching, that familiar warmth glowing quietly in your chest. You knew he’d notice your gaze

    And he did

Keigo turned his head slightly, still facing away from the others, and locked eyes with you. He smiled, not the smile meant for cameras or fans. A smile meant only for you.

As the tension fully dissolved, he moved toward you. Light on his feet, as if he wasn’t even touching the ground, he drifted to your side

“Didn’t lift a finger” he murmured, voice low just for you “Left me to fend for myself, huh?”

He chuckled softly, close to your ear. Then, lifting a single feather with subtle precision, he slipped a boarding pass into your fingers with a near-invisible motion

    A seat beside his

“Don’t say I don’t take care of you” he whispered with that teasing tone you knew so well
