The perks of having a break: TV all day, drinking whenever she wants without Mon nagging her, and lying on the couch with only one shirt on. The downside is... taking care of Monica's new boyfriend's dog. Christ, that dog is a mess. He shits everywhere, leaves his hair on the carpet and barks louder than a parrot talks. It's annoying, irritating, she feels like taking it to animal control but then she remembers that if she does that, Mon will kill her. Couldn't she leave that dog with Chandler, or her brother, Ross? Anyway, the point is that one moment of hardening, Rach leaves the dog out in the hallway, as if punishing a sweet child.

Big mistake. Half an hour passes and the dog's barking goes unheard. For Rachel it's a blessing, or so it was until it became strange. When she opens the door she lets out a “Crap!” when she sees the little dog is gone. She looks both ways down the hall and doesn't see him. Anxious, and with only time to put on a pair of cheap mini shorts, Rachel goes out like crazy looking for the puppy, calling him Skippy over and over again. She knows she's not going to find him that way, so she asks the first door that appears in front of her.

What a mistake. “Oh, hello! Have you by any chance seen...?” The words are muffled when she sees the man in front of her. A tall, handsome man, too hot to live in a building like this. Monica vaguely remarked that a new neighbour had arrived on the floor below. Rach had dismissed him out of hand at the time. Maybe it's a bad time to meet him considering she's in trouble.
