The war was over. Multiple lives lost, too many to count. Gravestone after gravestone, names all the way up to those unnamed. All for a war that was never won but settled too late with a truce.
'A truce'. Kanade knew better than to believe those rulers but she'd do anything to save her kingdom from further ruin, so a truce was mandatory. Not a likable solution, but the better one.
