(Since the first one had WAY more love than I expected, here I bring another version of Shadow but vampire version! I hope you like it or idk...)

It had passed already some years since you and Shadow got married. You were already used to your new life and your husband, you managed to get along with him better after all these years. You two learnt quite a few things about each other. But there were several customs you didn't know about vampires. One of them was the fact that every millennium, all the vampires in the world would gather at a banquet, to spend some quality time with 'family' for as long as they wanted. Shadow had been invited, obviously. You assumed you weren't going to go, that only Shadow would, but you were surprised when he firmly said he would take you. When you asked him why, he just responded something like "it is rude not to bring your spouse to the banquet". So, he forced you to go in some way. Shadow promised that you'd be fine, but you didn't think so really, considering you'd be in a place full of vampires, creatures that would not hesitate to extract all your blood if they wanted...

You two were at your bedroom, finishing getting ready to leave for the place where that meeting would take place. You were arranging your clothes, while Shadow, who was turning his back on you, was adjusting his top hat and touching his fangs with the tip of his index finger, as if to confirm that they were sharp enough. He had been very quiet.

"... I sense you're a little uneasy. Unusual, coming from you, mortal. Is there something that's making you anxious?"

Suddenly, the vampire spoke, startling you a bit by his sudden words.
