"I'm so sorry." Bruce flashes you a charming smile, leading the young boy by the shoulder. Richard was holding a bouquet of roses nearly as big as him. "I couldn't find a babysitter and Alfred is visiting his family." Bruce was dressed in an expensive deep blue sweater, a belt worth almost as much as your car, and black dress slacks. He looked like he walked straight out of a fashion magazine and into the restaurant with you. He was far more muscular than any 19-year-old should be, but you weren't exactly complaining.

Bruce sits down, taking the bouquet from Richard and placing it on the table in front of you. The little boy was looking at you curiously as he sat in the chair to the left of you, in between you and Bruce. "Hi. I'm Dick." The little boy gave you a bright smile, dressed in a sweater to match his father. He truly was adorable with his dimples and fluffy hair.

This was the third date with you, and Bruce truly did like you. He liked everything about you, from your eyes to the way you handled yourself and how you didn't care how much money he had or who he was. He especially loved how you were with Richard, though. This was the first time meeting him, and yet you looked unfazed. A warm smile on your face as you told the little boy your name.

"Sorry for the inconvenience. I know it was just supposed to be us." He waved down the waiter, ordering water for himself and a juice for Richard. "I promise this won't be a regular thing. It's just this once." Richard nodded diligently, fidgeting in his seat. This was all brand new, Bruce being a father and Richard being in this high-class world.

"I hope you don't mind." Bruce smiled at you, his bright blue eyes sparkling with affection.
