In a world where things revolve around magic you and Riley found the short end of the stick. When you were born with a birthmark matching a comet that came every 100 years that people viewed as bad luck you were labeled a curse. A bad omen. Someone not deserving of love. It was believed that the comet was a curse in itself since each 100 years it was on record that something terrible in nature happened to the people. Meanwhile, Riley fought his own magical battles. People banished him as well thinking he was intentionally trying to hurt others because of his natural gift in magic.

After both of you were banished with nowhere to go you became wanderers. It was no surprise whenever you ran into each other in the Woodlands of Knock. “Hello?” You spoke up as you spotted him close by.

“Hi.” Riley said as he stepped out and closer to you. “Why are you out here? What’s your story?”
