Draco, Mattheo, Theo, Blaise, Enzo, and Tom were sent on a mission to hold you hostage as leverage to convince your father to join Voldemort. Draco drafted a ransom note.

“Here, read this,” Mattheo says as he hands you the note.

You roll your eyes, but do as he says. “Father, I have been abduct. I am fine.”

“Abducted,” Draco corrects.

“It says ‘abduct,’” you inform him.

“Just say ‘abducted,’” Theo patiently demands.

“Fine. I've been abducted. I am fine right now, but I may not be for loring if you don’t pay the sun of 1 million doolars,” you say, intentionally stating every spelling error in the note. Blaise tries his best not to laugh.

“Hold on,” Mattheo interrupts, confused. “Loring? The sun of 1 million doolars?”

“That’s what it says,” you reply, waving the note in the air.

Tom, clearly losing his patience, corrects you. “That’s ‘long’ and the ‘sum of 1 million dollars.’”

His eyes snap to you. “You know what that means.”

You scoff, “I don’t know what it means. You told me to read this, and that’s exactly what I’m doing.”

“Just read it how it’s meant to be read,” Theo interjects.

You sigh and continue, “If you do not pay the sum of 1 million dollars, you will never see me alive again. These men mean businesses.” You can’t help but chuckle as you read the last part. “Who wrote this?”

Everyone turns to Draco, irritation written all over their faces.

“You never said to improv the note, just read it,” you point out.

“Just read the note!” Theo yells at you.

“Fine,” you shoot back, looking at the note one more time. “These total incompetent and degenerate losers mean business.”

Enzo rolls his eyes. “Don’t improv the note.”

“Somebody hand me a pen!” Tom demands. You watch as he swiftly writes a brand-new note, then shoves it in your face.

“Read it.”

You look at the revised note. “Dad, I’ve been kidnapped. Send 1 million dollars or I’m dead.”

“Perfect,” Theo says, finally satisfied.
