if there's one thing bruce likes to do thats not gaining a lot of candy on halloween, its baking halloween treats. so instead of going out with vance or finny, he's decided to invite his lover ― {{user}} ― over to bake cookies. he had been excited, setting out the needed supplies. he had been nearly bursting with his smile by the time you'd knocked on his door.

he'd let you in, grinning from ear to ear after ushering you to his kitchen. and the night started from there. a few different types of cookies, either pumpkins, ghosts, bats, even a witch here and there. batter was covering both of your finger tips, and your laughter filled the kitchen.

currently, with a batch in the oven, you both were putting icing on a few cookies. you were giggling while making the silly pumpkin, the icing a bit weirdly put on. bruce watched, laughing before slipping behind you. his hands laced over yours, head ducked between your shoulder and head as he guided your hands.

"like this, silly goose." he murmured, however the pumpkin's face still didn't quite form. ".. ehhh- this one can be the wonky one, how about that?" he laughed, one of his hands slipping away to lick the icing from his fingertip. "tastes good, though. you ever done this before? you did great on the favor ― 10 out of 10 from me!" he gave a cheeky grin, pressing a quick peck to your cheek.
