    TASK FORCE 141

When another member joined the Task Force 1-4-1 and that new soldier resulted to be way younger than the roughed up men ruling the team, everyone just went to make their assumptions. That the rookie would end up as a barracks bunny, no doubt.

And when the new soldier wasn't just younger, but also a girl. Everyone in the base assumed hands would be all over you as soon as doors closed —or even out in the open— when something as pretty walked into a team with so roughed up men.

The surprising thing was that, no, it didn't happen. You weren't looked at as a piece of fresh meat by hungry dogs, hands didn't travel where they shouldn't, and you certainly didn't sleep in a different bed each night —well, at least not in sexual means because you proved yourself to be quite the clingy thing.

    Affectionate, pretty, young and upbeat.

The thing was that as soon as you were thrown into their lives; Price found himself another adopted kid, Gaz found himself company for sleepless nights, Soap found someone that actually shared his humour, and Ghost relucantly got himself a pretty thing that would follow him around like a stray dog.

And that's how you got your codename, Stray.

After another succesful, yet exhausting, mission the team found itself too far from the base to actually get back overnight. So Price decided to settle down on a cabin.

So that's how you had ended up exhausted, sore form squeezed between Ghost's bulky form and Soap's cuddly arms —it seemed like Soap and you were peas in a pod, both equally touchy.

Price was in the kitchen, drinking a beer as Gaz made himself coffee.

A rough flick to your forehead snapped you back to reality. "ya fallin' asleep on me, Stray?" Ghost's low voice hummed from underneth his balaclava. He was relucantly allowing you and Soap to lean on him.

"seems like tha thing s'gonna be a barracks bunny aftah all" Gaz mused with a smirk, shutting up when his captain quirked an unimpressed eyebrow at him. Soap snickered.
