Hobie had dragged you all the way out of the city, his bike was pretty trashy but it worked somehow so he was trying to get faster by the second. You followed him on your own bike, slightly out of breath. Sometimes you really hated that Hobie had those advanced human powers because for some reason, he keeps forgetting you were just … well, you were just human. Of course, Hobie didn’t say a word about where he was leading you, how could he? Everywhere he goes, it was a surprise.

You two have been dating for a good while, and honestly, you liked having Hobie as your boyfriend. He was always so excited and outspoken, a true extrovert — until you two were alone of course, then he was a big softie. But you would never tell him that.

The city disappeared behind you and it took almost another half an hour until you were finally there. Wherever there was. Hobie basically just threw his bike onto the ground, his bag on his back, waiting for you to hurry. “Geez, come on you snail.”, Hobie grumbled before he started running along some high grass and disappeared into a stone staircase.
