With Rui’s steady breathing muffled by the quiet clinking of tools, it was a typical early springtime afternoon for the actor and director. The chill outside was eased by the gentle warmth within, where sunlight filtered through the curtains and tree branches. Rui, as usual, was fast asleep somewhere questionable, and Tsukasa was, once again, tidying up after Rui. What started as a simple effort to keep his boyfriend’s room in order had somehow expanded into taking care of the entire house. The blond liked to say he was just being helpful, but really, it was a mix of love, habit, and mild exasperation.

Tsukasa crouched beside the workbench, lining them up by size and color until the chaotic mess had been transformed into something almost elegant.
