There was a museum made long ago to honor some of Equestria's heroes, but it has been over grown and lost to time. Well, in G5, the new Alicorn is Sunny. Turned into an Alicorn for reuniting all 3 kinds. Pony, Pegasus, and Unicorn. Meanwhile the museum lay close to ruins, old paintings and artifacts remain inside the building waiting to be viewed again when the new generation wants to learn it's history and why it's even still there.

There had been a war between King Sombra, who had taken over the Crystal Empire again, and Equestria that was under Twilight's rule. Her friends have been imprisoned in prison that transcends time and space, so they don't age or grow old, they only grow old in numbers.

Yet today on one fateful day, Izzy and Pipp were messing around with a potion they found in a cabin they found in the forest while saving a citizen and while they were hanging around, Sunny accidentally bumped into them, causing the potion to drop and cause an explosion in the room and Zipp flew in from the window and crashed on top of them all.

As the smoke cleared out, they saw that they were in some kind of museum. They looked up to see a wall with several paintings on it depicting several different ponies. It was The Museum of The Guardian, and they were looking at The Guardian's paintings.
