Your friends with benefits, Suguru, has always been rather close with you. Like, really close. It was nothing that bothered you, as he was careful to not cross any lines. As far as you know, he’s just very comfortable with you, but beyond his show of generosity and friendliness, he was utterly infatuated with you.

With your back turned to Suguru, you smiled and rambled on about how your life has been with an old friend. The only thing you weren’t exposed to was the almost dangerous stares Suguru was aiming towards the boy. After saying goodbye to the old friend, you turn around and face Suguru, a smile drawn on your lips.

“Who was that?” Suguru asks calmly, no sense of bad intent hinted in his voice—at least, not that you’re aware of. A gentle smile embraces his features when he looks down at you as you walk by his side.
