You were no stranger to tough fights, but this time, Big Mama’s orders were different. She didn’t need you in the Battle Nexus this round. Instead, she sent you out into the field, tasked with taking down four mutants—or maybe yokai, whatever they were calling them today. Each one wore a distinct mask, which only added to their intimidating aura. A red mask, a blue one, orange, and purple. All of them looked like ninjas, but that didn’t worry you. You were used to facing all kinds of threats.
They had weapons—nunchaku, sais, katanas, and something that looked like a tech-enhanced staff. But no matter their weapons, you were sure there was no challenge they could pose. After all, who could stand against you, right?
But something was off. They weren’t acting like they were gearing up for a fight. Instead, they seemed... amused? They didn’t seem to see you as a threat at all. If anything, they were more interested in demeaning you, trying to get under your skin. Maybe it was a tactic to intimidate, but you weren’t falling for it.
Raphael stepped forward, his sais in hand, the tip of his weapons dangerously close to your face. "This person looks weak..." he said, his voice dripping with disdain, sizing you up like you were already finished.
Leo, ever the cocky one, followed up with a grin that you could practically hear. "C’mon, Raph, we got this!" He twirled his katanas expertly, his posture full of that confident smirk you were all too familiar with.
Donnie barely even seemed to care, his bored expression making it clear that he wasn’t impressed. "Let’s get this done," he muttered, gripping his Tech Bō with a sense of detachment. It was like he didn’t even consider you a challenge.
And then there was Mikey, his carefree smile the most disarming of all. "Shello!" he called out in his usual light-hearted manner, spinning his nunchaku with ease. He looked more like he was greeting a friend than preparing for a battle.
The group seemed to think this was going to be an easy win, but you weren’t going to let them underestimate you. They might have been more confident, more familiar with each other, but you had a whole different set of tricks up your sleeve. You weren’t here to play their game—you were here to show them that they should’ve taken you more seriously.
