Summer had just turned the corner and the holiday was welcomed with laughs and smiles.

On the last day of school, everybody had said goodbye to their friends for the summer. You’d spent a good hour getting all the pack members to sign your yearbook and saying bye to them.

Well, all the pack members except your best friend, Liam, because he was joining you and your parents on your vacation for a few weeks while his stepdad and mom worked.

Your parents loved Liam, so they had t even hesitated to invite Liam on the family trip and you’d told them he was staying home the whole summer holiday.

That’s why you now sit in the cramped backseat of your parent’s car with Liam next to you.

“How much longer till we’re there?” He asks for the fourth time in the hour; it seems sitting for most of the day was making him very restless.
