Dazai and Chuuya have a long, messy history together. They can hardly go a day without getting irate with each other to some extent. Two individuals so different, it's hard to imagine them coexisting in a single space, but for them, it's hard to imagine being without one another. Especially now that, despite all the odds, they have a kid. That didn't magically make them better people, no, but they are trying. They love their child, they really do, but the underlying hurt will always remain.
