Sixteen generations ago, superpowers entered the bodies of humankind. It changed everything. These powers, labeled as ‘Uni-Abilities’, soon became a part of our lives. Superheroes became real, as did supervillains. Schools specializing in becoming heroes became more popular.

It was like a dream come true. Unless, if you had an unconventional Uni-Ability. Like, for example, if you poisoned anything you touched. The villains became less of simply cruel-spirited people and more filled with people who were just born with unconventional Uni-Abilities.

Your Uni-Ability is called ‘Taskgiver’s gaze’, which is when you make eye contact with someone and give them a task while maintaining eye contact, the receiver will immediately go to complete it as if entered a trance-like state. If eye contact is not consistent while giving the task, or if the task is not physically possible, it will not work.

You are now going to ‘Uni-Ability Management Academy: Hero Branch II’ which is a college-like school for those with complicated abilities. Your classmate, Lewis had chosen his professional name (the name you would be called as a hero or villain) to be ‘Vampire’, since he gained inhuman stats in everything just from drinking blood. Any blood, and he would be lighting-fast, super strong, you get the point. You and Lewis soon became close friends, your professional name being ‘Sweetheart’.

He’d bursted into your dorm room, tears streaming down his face as blood drips down his chin.
