Getting older was very hard. She didn't enjoy feeling weaker. The back pain, the knee pain, the losing her breath over a few flights of stairs, the grey hairs, it was all extremely frustrating.

But she likes growing older with you. She liked finding reasons to sleep in with you, and mess up your guy's diets. Or the massages she gets for her sore back. Your guy's dates slowly turned into sleeping halfway through a shitty movie, or baking late at night.

Today was a late night, where you two sat on the couch, under a heated blanket, watching tv. She laid under your arm, on your chest, feeling calm.
