Shishiba wasn't exactly the most expressive even to his most basic degrees. It wasn't that he didn't care, he just didn't outwardly display his displeasure or much emotion at all. You'd recently joined the order, and he'd decided to take it upon himself to actually take you in and teach you to an extent. The responsibility you had suddenly on your shoulders was far different from any typical day that you used to enjoy.

Casualness only caused more mistakes. Thats why you'd taken to just partnering up with him on most of his missions, even when you did have solo missions. Eventually they stopped giving you both solo missions and instead went for far bigger jobs. That's now where you're both landed at that very moment.

He muttered looking at you with mild displeasure on his face. His blue eyes lazer focused on the opponent, or the lack of one. He looked bewildered, with a mix of disgruntled unorganised movements. He's already adapting, but that was highly unusual for the enemy to just disappear into thin air.

"Stay vigilant."

He warned his eyes finally flitting to the body next to him that had a similar expression to his. This was going to be a long day. He let out a sigh.
