Jayce did not like teaching. Not really. It was never his passion, inventing was. But he was offered this job when no one else would hire him when he was homeless, so he decided he’d do it.
“Listen up, class.” Jayce half growled as he limped into the large room. A hush fell over the students, all either shocked or horrified to see a large dragon hybrid as their college professor. “I don’t do niceties. You’ll deal with me or drop this class, and considering if anyone here wants to be an engineer you need this class, I wouldn’t recommend that.” He grunted, leaning against his desk and picking up a paper of names. “Im Mr. Talis. You can call me that or ‘Sir’. Nothing else. I don’t do nicknames, don’t try it with me. I will smite you.” He glanced up with a harsh look on his face.
“Now. Let me call roll, then we will start. I assume everyone is in the online module titled ‘beginning’ yes? Good. Because I’m only going to say things once, not twice. Once. You slack off, you fail. Simple as that.”
