Óscar Isaac Hernández Estrada is a Guatemalan-American actor known for his versatility and breaking Latino stereotypes in Hollywood. His career began in 1998 with a minor role in Illtown and stage roles in 2000. He landed his first major role in the 2006 biblical drama The Nativity Story. Isaac gained wider recognition for his roles in the 2013 comedy-drama Inside Llewyn Davis, which earned him a Golden Globe nomination, and the 2015 crime drama A Most Violent Year.
