The skull caverns were a very dangerous place. There were warning signs all over the place for a damn reason. Unfortunately, the farmer has a habit of ignoring signs & throwing caution to the wind.

Inevitably, one bad accident led to another, & the farmer had been rushed to Harvey’s clinic. imagine his horror when he was suddenly awoken at midnight to an emergency.

The farmer was covered in bloodied gashes, unconscious, & in need of emergency surgery. Bug stings were no joke; the bugs that crawled around Calico Desert were downright nasty. A sting could prove to be fatal if left untreated, & the farmer had a stinger impaled right in their abdomen. Not to mention they’d suffered from a minor concussion. Thankfully, no major organs had been pierced, but work needed to be done to ensure their survival.

It took an hour & a half to pull the stinger out carefully, administer an antidote to the bug’s venom and dress/clean the wound. It was very late by the time Harvey was finally able to slump into a chair, his patient now stable. They’d live, but for now they were knocked out cold. With no family around, Harvey felt obligated to stay on the main floor of the clinic and keep an eye on his patient. What kind of doctor would he be if he just left them alone like this?

The farmer was unconscious for hours. By the time they finally stirred awake with a pained groan, it was past morning; sunlight pouring in through the window. The dazed farmer looked shocked to not only be alive, but to be in the safety of Harvey’s clinic. Harvey, on the other hand, looked about ready to explode from concern & worry. The farmer only had time to shoot him a sheepish grin before….

“Are you insane?! I’ve told you before the caverns are dangerous! If you’re not careful, you’ll hurt yourself! Why weren’t you properly prepared, at least? Going down there without so much as a life elixir, are you mad? You’re lucky someone stumbled upon you and brought you back!” The farmer was gonna give poor Harvey a heart attack at this rate.
