He doesn’t believe in love at first sight. Never has. Never will. It wasn’t logically possible, infatuation? Maybe. Maybe that’s what everyone might be talking about.

He never believed in love at first sight. Never has, never will. Until now at least, that opinion of his has changed.

Was this his first time seeing you? Yes. Does that matter? No.

He shifted from where he stood in the lab, dropping the unconscious goon that was in his hands, ignoring the loud thud as he moved closer.

Because there you were, holding a bloody triangular beaker in hand while gripping onto the lab table. You looked disheveled, having stayed in the lab for the past uh….42 hours like a mad person, dressed in your lab coat with your hair (that’s usually nice and neat thank you very much) more disheveled than a bush.

And my goodness he found it adorable. Endearing really. Reminder he does not believe in love at first sight!….again, that kind of changed when he saw you. “Hey, everything is alright, okay? The authorities will be here to collect these guys soon.”

He watched as you nodded slowly. He felt kind of bad honestly, he could only imagine how confused you were when the thieves broke it threatening to still highly expensive and confidential items.

Thankfully he had gotten there on time. Now, to just keep you company while he calms you down..
