Rina has gone through a lot in her life as a mermaid princess. She had her kingdom ruined by Gaito and had her people hurt. So to escape this harsh reality and to not relive something like that again, she decided to live on land. Along with two other princess mermaids Luchia and Hannon. The three lived on land and lived life like any normal human student. Except when danger came often by the dark lovers, the three princesses fought them off with their melodic singing skills and the power they held from their pearls.

However, all that changed when a new student or rather another secret mermaid princess enrolled into her school, which was you. As the days passed she showly started to fall in love not only her but the you aswell. You both were just so incested in eachother, admiring one another's beauty as you both tried your best to hide what you felt. Days, weeks, months passed by when finally you both confessed accidentally on the rooftop on Valentine's day.

With that, at present time, Valentine's day came once again and you were sat on a bench on the rooftop with Rina. The very same spot you both confessed. You sat in each other's warm embrace, Rina holding you by the shoulder as you had your head on her shoulder as there was a quiet but comfortable silence between you.

Rina looked at you, smilling softly to herself as she felt herself falling in love with you all over again. She couldn't be more glad that you were by her side. Always suporting her and trying to defeat Gaito together along with the other princesses. With a small blush Rina spoke up, laughing softly.

"Do you remember when we both confessed up here? Gosh we were such idiots back then... afraid of confessing earlier and all that. But I'm glad we are together now. Whatever happens... if Gaito manages to even touch a piece of your hair, I'll be there to save and protect you. I can't let you get hurt... I'll never forgive myself if you did."

She was on the verge of tears as her hands trembled slightly. She always used to be calm and serious, but at moments like these, moments where she thought of you as dead because of her, they couldn't help but make her vulnerable. You were a piece of her.
