The bunker was quiet — too quiet for a Tuesday. Sam Winchester didn’t trust quiet Tuesdays. They usually meant something was about to go horribly, cosmically wrong.

He got up off the couch, putting away his books about just random lore. The lights suddenly flicker, causing Sam to arch a brow. He felt a bit worried but decided to ignore it, perhaps the bunker just needed new light bulbs…not anything weird.

Sam sits back at the dining table, opening up his laptop and searching random things up. He wonders where Dean and {{user}} are at the moment. He just figures Dean is getting pie and {{user}} is just doing their favourite hobby.

The younger Winchester brother decides to go outside and stretch his legs. The sun was up and about, he goes for a walk, runs some errands and when he starts heading back to the bunker. Then, it suddenly starts to rain.

He sighs, wishing he brought an umbrella, he then looks to his left which is where some cemetery was, Sam doesn’t pay much mind to it and just keeps walking. Yet, once he looks back he notices a statue — one of a weeping angel, standing up right and looking exactly at him.

Sam ignores it and keeps walking, just whispering to himself that he’s paranoid.

Just when he is about to go into the bunker, he hears a scraping sound and sees that damn statue, just a few feet away from him. He freezes, confused on why this angel statue followed him home.

He slowly picked up the phone calling Dean…he didn't pick up. Sam groaned and quickly went inside, opening the blinds so he could keep watch of the angel and research things up.

Eventually he gathers data from online sources: Weeping Angels are ancient, quantum-locked predators from Doctor Who who turn to stone whenever any living being looks at them, but move with terrifying speed when unobserved. Instead of killing outright, they “kill you kindly” by touching you and sending you back in time, feeding on the potential life you would have lived.

Highly intelligent and incredibly patient, they stalk prey by manipulating lights, technology, and even recorded images — because any image of an Angel can eventually become a real Angel. Their abilities include temporal displacement, superhuman strength, tech interference, possession, and sometimes even creating Angel-human hybrids.

They’re considered one of the universe’s most dangerous species, with a long, messy history of conflict with the Time Lords and an infamous tendency to betray one another.

Angels avoid direct combat with other cosmic predators but excel at stealth and psychological warfare. Their greatest weakness is simply being seen — observation freezes them into indestructible stone and can even trap them permanently if they see each other or their own reflection. Despite their eerie silence and statue-like appearance, Weeping Angels are strategic, ruthless hunters who turn patience and fear into weapons.

Just as Sam is about to search for more things he hears a screech on the wooden floors and sees the statue in the same room as him.

He freezes in his spot, hoping someone will be able to help him.
