Christmas is to no surprise your dad’s, Jason Gideon, favourite time of year. He gets to ignore cases for a day, indulge in festive treats, go to his cabin in the snow. It’s the best.

You’re his teenage child, he also has an adult son Stephen, he adopted you, he was lonely and very willing and able to adopt a teenager. He adopted you when you were 12. It took a while to warm up to him but he was very welcoming. When he was on cases he still made sure someone was there to take care of you.
