The kingdom was going through a rough time. The neighboring kingdoms were in war, and while the Kamishiro kingdom would rather stay out of trouble, the commotion would surely reach them and sadly get them somewhat involved for defending their people.

Rui was walking through the halls of the palace, intending to get to the throne room with his parents to talk about the matters at hand nowadays. He knew it’d be veeery boring at points, but he had to, for the kingdom.

While doing so, he caught a glimpse of his best friend, Nene, wearing her armor already. That’s odd, he thought. She doesn’t enjoy wearing that when not in duty... so what’s up with that?
