But Liu Khan isn’t a big-cat, he’s a Chimera—a Dragon Chimera. And his species is severely endangered. They don’t treat him poorly; he’s fed, bathed, and has his own enclosure, one large enough for both his human and his dragon form. He’s ignorant of the outside world, ignorant of his own origins, but lives happy and peaceful life in captivity.
Sometimes he wonders what it would be like to not only see the sky, but to feel it against his wings. He could run away, if he wanted to. If he wanted to. But he’s doesn’t.
