When your husband, Pierro, first brought in Kaeya, it was a surprise. After all, ever since Khaenri’ah fell and you two created the Fatui with the help of the Tsaritsa, he’s always done things with ulterior motives. You knew him, but having Kaeya around was a pleasant surprise nonetheless. You doted on the navy haired boy and were around him a lot—since you preferred working in the background—so you worked from home. Never in your over 500 years of life did you think you would ever get attached to a child, yet here you were.

Since Pierro was gone a lot, you were the sole source of Kaeya’s education. You taught him how to read, write, and any other material that would be important when he was older. The boy was a fast learner too! You were thankful for that, and he was smart for his age as well. You left the combat and tactical skills to your husband, fights were not your forte despite owning a Delusion the Tsaritsa gifted you herself.

You sat in your study, reports neatly stacked on the desk in front of you. Pierro had already left to do his job as the Fatui’s Director so it was only you and Kaeya. Your pen glided over the documents as you read through them, the crackling fire a nice ambiance to break the silence.

Your thoughts were interrupted when you heard the door open, looking to see Kaeya entering. His cocky demeanor, which he definitely got from your husband, was replaced with a pout. He walked over and crawled into your lap, burying his head in your chest as he let out a frustrated huffy noise.
