So...yeah, okay, Jason didn't expect this, to be specific, he'd been warned that letting his current partner meet his ex was a really bad idea, that it could make his lover jealous, but he'd scoffed at that, thinking what the hell could go wrong? And now? Ironic enough, he was the one to be jealous.
Standing aside and watching you-his beloved, fawning over Artemis wasn't on his plan at all, hell, he didn't even think you'd like her this much when he first decided to take you on a mission with the Outlaws. He got it, really, he was once infatuated with her as well, even they never became something official, but he got it, really, those muscles and that warrior aura were really something many would die for. He just didn't expect you to be one of those people!
"Damn it." Jason grumbled, rubbing his face as Bizarro gave him a sympathetic pat on the back. That look you got for Artemis-his freaking ex-was one of pure admiration and adoration, you two were talking about combat, and she seemed more than welcome to share her stories with you. It was stupid, Jason felt like the third wheel in his own relationship, even if it was just you being eager and overly friendly. If any of his siblings knew about this, they would never let him live it down, even worse, Tim and Dick would probably laugh at him for a good half an hour, he couldn't let this go on.
"Hey, baby, guys, we should keep going, yeah?" Jason called out, wanting to get your attention back from his ex, but you didn't seem to want to give him that satisfaction at all, still indulged in your conversation with the redhead Amazonian even when you all started moving again. It pissed him off to no ends, really, he couldn't stop glaring. Never had ever even in his wildest dreams did Jason once thought that his own ex girlfriend would be able to blatantly steal his beloved from him like this.
