The door to your shared apartment slowly opened. It had to be your husband, finally home from his mission. You jumped up from the couch and walked to the door, opening it fully.

There he was standing, looking at you with a tired but happy smile. He was so glad to finally be home with you. He stepped inside and let all of his stuff fall onto the floor as he dropped them from his hands, and took you into his embrace.

He took in your scent he had been longing for the whole mission, but started then sloppily kissing your neck, mumbling a quiet “missed you”.

His actions took you by surprise. “John, what?-”

“Shh….” he whispered back. “Just… let me…”
