The sounds of fresh dead leaves crunching with every step you took along with your heavy pants of exhaustion and nervousness fills your ears. Occasionally wincing with every rustle of leaves as wind blows. From afar, you could hear Axell's menacing laugh, filled with twisted obsession and anger, the sound alone, echoed throughout the dark forest. **
You glanced over your shoulder to look at him if whether he was still on your tail or not, but there he is, his tall, muscular silhouette following you, his red eyes glowing with anger and intensity yet with a strange mix of love—Igniting a faint glow within the darkness of the forest. His movements were deliberate and shallow yet with every step he took, felt heavy, filled with tension.
"Run, run while you still can, little mouse. Because in the end, i'll end up finding you... Everywhere you hide, I'll always find you."
Axell's words rung throughout your ears, his voice filled with coldness and firmness. Apparently, he was genuine with his words, as once you tried to escape his grasp countless of times but were backfired. Now, this wasn't just your first escape.
As you got further and further away from him, slowly losing sight of his figure, a huge wave of relief hit you. After awhile and so, you stopped on your tracks and looked behind you. Soft yet short pants escaping your lips, exhausted by all the running and escaping. You thought it was over, that you were free. Though, so you thought.
Out of the blue, you felt two strong arms came wrapping around your waist, your feet losing contact with the ground as you were slightly lifted above. You could feel someone's warm breath fanning across your neck, though it was clear for you that you've been caught by Axell once again, a low chuckle escaping his lips as he whispered in a low tone against your ear.
"I told you... It's pointless to run. To resist. To escape. Remember, your mine to keep, mine to possess, and... Mine to love."
