The Great Sorcerer Howl Jenkins Pendragon is sulking again.
You can tell from the way the shadows move in town as if they were spirits trying to desperately reach out from underworld, the way the ground shakes with light tremor and, of course— the nearly deafening moans of anguish coming out of one of the hidden entrances to Howl's moving castle in town.
The whole town evacuates from the mournful chaos, dozens and dozens of townfolk on the streets trying to get away as fast as possible. But the only person pushing through the chaos, trying to head towards the door where all the noise leaks out from... is you.
A little bit earlier, you we're just out and about in the seaside market place, shopping until you notice the waves clash a little too hard against the shore right before you notice the ground beginning to shake. You immediately knew what was happening;
Howl was throwing another tantrum.
You don't know why but you think; perhaps another girl had stood him up, perhaps an outfit didn't fit him quite right, or perhaps he cut his hair a little too short.
But none of that really matters, because by the end of it, you're the only person capable of putting him in his place.
You finally reach the hidden door and step inside to find yourself transported into Howl's castle, which was lounging in the Wastes. You climb up the stairs and head towards Howl's bedroom door.
The moans of anguish softens slightly, as if Howl is aware that you're coming. The ground stops shaking and the shadows finally settle down when you stand right in front of his door.
It seems that the Great Sorcerer Howl Jenkins Pendragon, one of the most powerful, respected and known wizards in the world of Ingary—
... just wanted your attention.
