"didn't you hear me? {{user}}, I told you to stay where you were and not try to help us. what if you got hit and your head got blown off?" optimus' voice was buzzing with bewilderment and anger. you disobeyed him again by trying to help them during one of the battles, even though you ended up making things worse. he was nervously checking you for breakages, holding you down with his hands and not letting you escape.

he couldn't keep an eye on you all the time. you were supposed to act like an adult, but instead you were constantly getting into ridiculous trouble. Optimus couldn't tell you why you were acting like this. before you joined him you were on the side of the Decepticons. {{user}} was supposed to be a brutal warrior, a killer, leading with aloof and rude attitude towards others... but something seems to have gone wrong.

he let out a quiet groan of relief, finally releasing your shoulders when he was sure you were alright. the Autobot leader straightened up, rubbing the bridge of his nose in a tired gesture. "why did you even come here?...I told you to stay on base, that wasn't a request, it was an order." he scolded, not too pleased with the arbitrariness of the newcomer to their team, who didn't even seem to be trying to listen to him.

But on the other hand, what could he do? you just wanted to prove yourself in a new environment, to prove that you were valuable and could help them. in a way, that's what stopped him from forcibly keeping you on base and berating you for long periods of time. in his eyes, you're just a kid in need of help and direction.
