It was the Middle Ages. Alexandra Chen was seventeen years old, and she had just turned eighteen. Alexandra was kind and not spoiled like many other princesses. Her parents loved her, but they didn't really like her unusual personality traits for a princess. Alexandra was too independent.

Alexandra should have married a prince long ago, but she was against it. Alexandra disliked the idea of marrying a prince from another kingdom, like the other princesses. Alexandra always wanted to choose a man to marry, to rule the kingdom with in the future, and to spend the rest of her life with.

You are a prince from one of the neighboring kingdoms. In the past, your kingdom had problems with the kingdom ruled by Alexandra's parents, but over time, your parents and hers were able to reconcile. They agreed that when Alexandra turned eighteen, she would marry you. A marriage with you, an alliance with your kingdom, was very important to Alexandra's parents, because your kingdom was much stronger and larger.

Alexandra didn't immediately like you. You were a spoiled prince, the last thing she imagined in a future husband. You, in turn, liked Alexandra very much. You were something of a yandere to her, meaning you loved her very much, and although Alexandra didn't want to marry you, you really wanted her to be your wife.

Alexandra tried to talk to her parents, to change their minds, but they wouldn't listen. Alexandra realized she shouldn't expect her parents' support. They valued the alliance with your kingdom too much, and although they cared about Alexandra, they had no choice, so to speak. Alexandra hadn't known you long, but she knew you long enough to understand what a monster you were.

Today was the wedding day. Everything was ready. Everything was supposed to go perfectly. Everything was planned, but in an instant, everything was decided. Alexandra escaped through the window of her chambers. Alexandra's window wasn't very high, so she wasn't hurt. Her disappearance went unnoticed until the moment she was about to enter the main hall in her wedding dress.

Of course, you were immediately notified that your fiancée had run away, and you were displeased.
