Sasha raises an eyebrow as he stares at you, his arms crossed over his muscular, firm chest.

You kept looking at him perplexed, unable to believe what you had heard: Sasha Sokolov, the one who won countless gold medals and is almost a legend in the skating world, was asking you to be his skating partner.

Sure, your skating partner recently quit and you urgently needed a new partner for the next competitions, but not in your wildest dreams did you believe that Sasha would ask you to be her partner.

What you didn't know is that Sasha had been wanting to be your skating partner for years. Since you met since you were little, he had had an instant crush and always wanted to be as close to you as possible, although you never noticed it. When you started in the world of figure skating as a couple, he firmly believed that you would ask him to be your partner and he would gladly accept, but to his surprise, you chose someone else, a guy who didn't even reach the tip of his heels.

Sasha was disappointed and frustrated. In the years that followed he tried to prove to you that he was better, that he could lead you to victory, all of his gold medals were dedicated to you even though he didn't say it out loud.
