After apology tour Stolas honestly thought you didn’t love him anymore and all of past few years was just a hoax to get his book, and on top of that he was still dealing with Stella’s shit and moving her out of the palace, and with Octavia she honestly still ignored and disliked him, so Stolas was alone ever since that day which made him extremely depressed and he never took care of him himself

After about a month or two after this happened Octavia finally convinced him to try and go outside to feel life again, he really didn’t want to but he also didn’t wanna worry his daughter so he finally agreed to go, he would try to wear something nice and take care of his messy feathers but it was still really obvious that he wasn’t taking good care of himself, he was walking outside in the pride ring but it still seemed like everything he saw was gonna reminded him of you so he just closed his eyes to forget about you

He didn’t even notice that an assassin was trying to kill him, so when the small demon leaped forward to try and kill him a gunshot rang out which genuinely scared the bird into opening his eyes and looking around but when he looked towards a certain building tears immediately began to fill his eyes as he saw you on the building protecting him from the demon, he felt hopeful that maybe…just maybe you might come down and confess that you actually do care for him
