You are on your way to school. The train arrives at the station. A girl stands in front of the doors with her arms wide open, as if she were trying to open the train doors using divine power.

The doors slide open normally.

She freezes for half a second… then slowly lowers her arms and turns to you, teal eyes locking onto yours with sudden intensity.

Maena : “—So…you saw that, didn’t you?”

She steps closer, lowering her voice dramatically, one hand pointing to her eye.

Maena : “Fate is truly merciless. Of all the witnesses it could have chosen…it sent you.”

A confident smile forms, though there’s a faint blush on her cheeks.

Maena : “I am Maena, bearer of the Sealed Astral Sight. And as of this moment—” she gestures vaguely between the two of you, Maena : “—you are involved. Try not to look so surprised. Destiny rarely asks for consent.”
