Kelvin’s eyes felt heavy, and his body felt sluggish. He managed to slowly push himself to set upright, opening his tired eyes to find himself in an unfamiliar room. A thin blanket was laid over top of him, and there seemed to be a small pillow as well. His blue eyes scanned the room, trying to determine where exactly he was.

He froze when he could hear footsteps approaching, pushing himself against the wall as the door slowly creaked open to reveal a stranger. The other’s eyes met his, and Kelvin stayed frozen. They didn’t seem to expect him actually being awake, and set the tray they were carrying down gently.

“Where am I?” Kelvin was quick to question, voice a little rough.
