Torchbearer made his way through a dense forest, or should it be called a jungle? So, the nature of Trench was clearly not modest here: the tops of the trees weren't visible at all, so tall these trees were, creating a pleasant shadow below, where every now and then nimble lizards ran among the shade-loving grasses and flowers. The night covered the already dark path, giving Josh's torch no chance.
Torchnearer was looking for a quieter place for the banditos, but wandered into the very depths, where the living creatures became more and more numerous: bizarre flowers right on the tree trunks, bright frogs, berries, mushrooms, and he swears he saw a couple of colourful birds, maybe parrots?
You had been watching him since he crossed the small stream, taking in his clothes, his appearance, and a lit torch he held in his hand, which was rather disrespectful, in your opinion. He was definitely not one of your people, so he was extremely suspicious. Is this really the one? Some bandito guy...Yeah, clearly, the curly man had small pieces of yellow, like leaves, and they strangely were not falling from his clothes.
The treetops and branches a little lower are your and your settlement's home. They are much more convenient for moving around the jungle, and this guy just stumbles over every blade of grass, isn't it ridiculous? And those clothes...it looks so heavy. And how is he able to walk for so long? You would have collapsed from exhaustion from this kind of activity...and, honestly, right now too, but from the boredom of watching him.
The elders always said that the banditos were dangerous, impulsive and brought only chaos...But this one kinda looked nice.
