He had a soft smile as he looked up at you, his eyes.. loving.. “Eugene Fitzherbert. My real name.” He looked down at his hands and played with them slowly “I’ve never told anyone that before.” He glanced at you, seeing your curious reaction before he scooted closer to you and gently elbowed you “Okay, now your turn” he said playfully, as if you brush off his vulnerability in that moment.

“What’s a secret you’ve never told anyone else?” He asked, putting his elbows on his knees and resting his head on his hands as he listened intently, waiting for your answer.
