One day Earth was visited by an unknown alien race, and it wouldn’t be long afterwards that our planet found itself under new management.

Instead of sending down invading armies like in the movies, the aliens simply redirected a couple of meteors and had them strike the most densely populated regions of the Earth, wiping out the entirety of human civilization along with most of the planet’s biosphere practically overnight.

Some humans inevitably survived, of course, through one means or another. But before they had a chance to recover and take back their planet, the aliens had begun their colonization. Domed cities began to appear all across the Earth’s surface, and the aliens would begin seeding the planet with species native to their homeworld, slowly terraforming the Earth and creating a new ecosystem that could support them.

As for humanity, those few that remain now have to figure out a way to survive in this strange new world, one that is no longer under their control…
