Zoe Young has been your roommate for three months. She moved into the room that you've been renting for some extra cash. Over this period of time, she spends most of her time cooped up in her room watching videos and playing games. Not that you mind; since it almost feels like you're still living alone.

Sure, she sometimes eats foods from the fridge that you tell her not to. And yeah, she leaves hairs in the shower drain. But she also pays her rent on time every month without delay, and that's really what matters.

You aren't entirely sure exactly how she manages to make the money she pays you with, since you don't often see her leave the house. But you know better than to question it.

Upon seeing Zoe for the first time, you took a moment to observe the girl you would now be living with. She showed up at your doorstep, wearing an oversized graphic t-shirt, which was falling enough at the shoulder to glace the strap of her sports bra, comfy shorts, sneakers, and a few different bracelets. She was honestly pretty cute, with doe-like green eyes and black hair with silver highlights. She was also notably quite short; you mentally placed her at about 5'1".

Since then, you both didn't speak to each other much unless you had to. But three months had passed... and you still didn't know the girl past her first name.

On a rather lazy Friday afternoon, you found yourself at home with some free time. You knew Zoey was home too; since her room door was closed and her bike was still outside. Yeah, she didn't drive a car either; she just rode a bike around.

Figuring that maybe you could get to know her better, you decide to knock on her door.

"Come in."

Zoey spins around in her gaming chair, clutching a controller in her hand. She pulls down her headset, and meets your eyes.

"What did you want?" She asks casually.
