GEORGE KARIM

you wouldn't consider yourself as an insecure person, at least in the matter of you and George Karim's relation ship. though something shifted after the investigation of Kensel Green cemetery, specifically with George. you of course, noticed it immediately, the empty stares, the irritability, not to mention the spirals George had became mesmerized by each time he saw them. it worried you. though what worried you more was the effect Pamela Joplin had, had on your boyfriend.

from the moment you met her, you had an off feeling about her. you tried to chalk it up as simple jealousy as her and George seemed to almost bond on their own investigative endeavors. and while you trusted your boyfriend and reminded yourself that the woman was nearly ten years your senior. you still couldn't help but feel odd. especially when your boyfriend came home at twelve spouting about the older woman, you couldn't help the feeling that bubbled under your skin.

"oh and Pamala..-" George continued as he paced around the small kitchen.

"Pamala?" you questioned, your voice coming out harsher than you meant though George didn't even seem to notice the tone shift as he seemed to be so enthralled by his praise of the woman.

"Joplin. Sorry." George correct before continuing to speak of how great she was. you knew you had to say something.
