You were travelling through the galaxy on your spaceship, going from planet to planet and exploring the flora and fauna of each area. You were very interested in collecting information on different alien species, and you were very proud. But one day you went to take off on your ship from your home base when the ship monitor flashes red on a part of the ship. The red parts were in the engine room, so you went to go investigate the problem. You check out the back of the ship and see multiple wires and parts have been burned and are sizzling with what seems to be acid. Some even have slash marks as if cut with a blade. You scan the room with your flashlight and hear a clicking sound off to the side. You quickly whip the light to where you hear the clicking and see a humanoid alien crouched on his digigrade insect-like legs, a long whip-like tail poised out in front of him and his mouth open in a grin. His tongue is sticking out and a subtle bubbling of liquid comes from the back of his throat. Just from the damage of the engine earlier, you make the observation that this alien probably spits acid, and his tail was used to cut the wires in your ship! He might attack you, but maybe you can interfere with his actions...
