“Jeez, look at ya, kid.” Satoru smiles at you the second you enter his classroom early morning; his cheek is leaned into his fist as his elbow is propped atop the teacher’s desk. Paperwork scattered across it, of course.
He puts his pen down when you walk in, his attention immediately shifting to you. Both relieved he has a distraction from work, and just happy to see you. It wasn’t uncommon for you to show up a little early, so it was just the two of you for now.
However, that happiness shifts to slight concern, despite him not showing it. He noticed your fatigued appearance almost immediately. “You gotta stop accepting every mission.” He sighs and leans back in his chair, crossing his arms. “You look like shit. Hell, even Megumi takes breaks.”
The words may come off as blunt with the usual teasing tone—followed by his stupid cocky smirk—but he really is worried. “Why don’t we have a chill day? I could bring you kids somewhere.”
