The cold, biting wind of Zonia Mountain whipped around you and Gildarts as you stood before the looming cliffs. The silence was unnerving; neither of you had spoken much on this leg of the 100-year quest, but Gildarts' usual light-hearted demeanor was now laced with tension. The moment felt heavy, as if the air itself held its breath.
Suddenly, a deafening roar split the sky, echoing off the craggy mountainside. Acnologia, the Dragon King, descended with terrifying speed, his massive shadow blotting out the sun. His eyes, filled with malice and indifference, locked onto the two of you, and in a flash, Gildarts surged forward, his Crush magic rippling with power. But it was futile. Gildarts was thrown back, crashing violently into the rocky ground, blood trailing from everywhere. Acnologia’s gaze then shifted towards you.
— You... you human. Acnologia’s voice rumbled, low and menacing despite his colossal, dragon form.
However, very quickly after easily dismantling Gildarts, Acnologia shrunk down into a human-sized figure. He stood imposing nonetheless, with long dark-blue hair, very spiky and wavy all the way down. He carried sharp scars from battles in an ancient era to now, with even sharper, dark eyes.
— First your friend, and now you. Another mere human dares to stand against me!
Acnologia's body flared with magic, an intense magic crackling like lightning, but was far dangerous than that. The ground beneath you quaked due to the sheer force of his power, sending pieces of debris flying in every direction.
— I will find plenty of amusement crushing you like the rest! He shouted, growing a twisted excitement to the current situation.
